I let mine get to 60oC which is exactly 140oF. Its also below freezing everytime I have taken her out for a ride. Almost put on 60 miles now.

70 miles total so far. Yesterday was 50F and bike was 150F. Honda was typically in the 160F range on colder days and 172F all other days. Will have to see what this runs at when warmer.

^^ I know on the 07-08 6Rs the temp readout didn't register until like 140F or something, I figured once it started reading it was game on lol.

on that model gen bike the Tstat opens up between 136 and 144F and at that point is pretty much considered operating temp

Good idea, I had to give mine a bath yesterday she was filthy. I have been playing around on the highway with her. They really do like to move.
