my search for a cafe tail
In desperate search for a good cafe tail. I don't want to do too much hacking on the frame. If anything I'll at least cut 6in off the tail of the frame and reconncect it. Any ideas? Websites anything? First 2 pics are exactly what I want, second two are my bike.

I know!!!!! He got it off a k750. Cool thing is we have a pull apart here about 30 minutes away with over 10000 motorcycles to go through. I hate to copy him 100% but I'm sure I can find something there that bike is beautiful. Definitely doing the frame plate to protect the electrical. Gotta figure out a battery option as well.

Have you looked into Blue Collar Bobbers kits. They are top quality, and considering the price, $1390.00 USD + shipping, it's one hellva deal.
I've had contact with the owner and creator, Lance, he said the kit was over a year in R&D. I love the kit so much, I'm keeping my eyes open for another 250, just to do this conversation, I had one lined up for $250 USD, but I was too slow.

I'd check out Hotwingglass.com, which sells upholstered cafe seats. They are fiberglass and some are wide enough to fit the 250 frame. I've used them, and the foam is quite comfortable. The seat pans can be shortened, and the seat covers modified, to fit any application.
