need help with koso gauge
I installed everything and everything works except the speedo. It says im going 90 out of my drive way. I changed the circumference setting with the sensor point setting to 2 (which i still have no idea what it does). i changed the piston setting to 4 cylinder 2 stroke. i have the plug and play kit and directly attached the speedo cable to the adapter and its plugged into the 3 pin connector.
So do i need to install the magnet on my wheel if i have the adapter for the existing speedo cable? |

and you should have used 6 magnets. The setting should be set to 6 and not 2. Also re-measure your circumference and check that setting as well.

The sensor point setting tells the gauge how many times it should check for a signal during one rotation of the tire. Therefore if you have it set to 2, then there should be two magnets on your rotor and they should be 180 degrees from each other.

If you are using the plug and play wiring for the 250 and using the adapter that comes within that goes to the speedo cable then you don't have to use the magnet.
here is the settings I have the same set up and it's accurate I compared it to my GPS. Hope this helps. |
