Ordered the Proton Flush Mounts today
any suggestions on the installation or is as straight forward as there insturctions indicate... no need for a voltage regualtor or other aftermarket items????

Thanks for the link. Couple final questions: 1) If I replace the flasher unit do I still need to add the diodes? 2) I assume the diaodes can be found at Radio Shack?

I'm fairly sure you only need the diode when your upgrading your rear indicators to LED's as well as upgrading the front indicators to LED's.
Don't bother making your own diode, I bought mine from custom LED or you can also get the exact same diode from www.modmy250.com |

^Yup. You only need the diode for 4 or more leds. And if you do need the diode, go the easy no-cut route, support a fellow member and get it from modmy250.
