Exhaust smoking/leaking gas
So, I just put a new rear tire on my bike. In the midst of it, my roommate who was helping managed to knock the bike over while the rear wheel was off. Hit the swingarm and maybe the caliper. I'm not entirely sure because I was trying to keep the front off the ground. Bike appears fine, runs no worse than it used to, maybe a weirder idle.
But, there is something clear, thin and strong smelling leaking from the exhaust, and it smokes out the end. Is this normal after the bike has been tipped/flooded? A bit of gas split when it was tipped and I'd like to know if it's not a huge deal or if I should call off riding to work until I can figure it out. Also, the rear brake is near nonexistent now. x_x |

Time to ask your roommate for his insurance information.

He was helping and did something I stupidly approved and that's how it went down.
I'd really like to know if the smoke/leak is serious, though |

Rode to work, seems fine.
No smoke by the time I got here (15min ride). Brake seems more responsive. Imma have it looked at Sunday or Monday by someone who knows more and I'm gonna check it myself tomorrow. Lucky I still have a front! And no more rain out here. Thanks for the response. |

So, home now. Ran fine, idled normally (little choppy in the cold, but no difference from before the tire change), no smoke, no drips, maybe a little smell. Tire is AWESOME though funny because now with an inch+ added to the rear, I'm back on tippy toes.
Rear brake still has me worried. It's just as responsive as it was before the change, but now it sort of pulls the back of the bike to the left. Possibly a lock-up that feels different on a new tire? It didn't feel as "slippery" as a lock, as I've felt before. It's more like the rear of the bike wants to go in a certain direction as it slows. Still looking at it tomorrow to make sure I put the caliper back on correctly and all, and I'll have it looked at yet. Just a curiosity. |

Your back wheel is out of alignment.
