Battery Issues
So I have been riding all winter long and I rode yesterday with no issues. Today I go to start my bike and at first it doesn't start at all. then it turns the engine once and doesn't start. If I hold the button for a few seconds after a few seconds of silence the bike will start up... So is my ignition system going bad or the battery itself, cause I just bought a damn battery because I thought that was the issue and I just realized it most likely isn't...... HEYELP!!!!!

It could be a defective starter button, starter relay, clutch switch, starter solenoid or starter motor; I don't believe that bad batteries show such time delay.

Have you tried hooking it up to a battery tender???? Battery could possibly be dead.

I agree it doesn't sound like a battery issue. If the battery was dying/dead it may crank slightly then not at all not the other way around. Sounds more like a switch/relay/solenoid issue.

sounds like there is a missed connection somewhere, battery shouldnt be an issue already.

Get a voltmeter and measure the battery voltage WHILE you are cranking. Report back the lowest voltage you see.
It might also be helpful if you post a video of what its doing. EDIT: To test the solenoid. Do this: Center stand, gear->neutral, seat off, right side panel off, look for the solenoid next to the fuse box. It looks something like this: Key on, use a paper clip to short the two big nuts together. See if bike starts reliably.
