Just picked up a Ninja 300
Just added it to the stable as the 4th bike. Main purpose is to teach the girlfriend to ride but also might throw it on the trailer for a change of pace on track days as well. Im waiting on my adapter plate for one of my Bursig stands and then plan on taking it back to stock ride height. Ive got a feeling if I decide to keep it around Ill be on here researching suspension upgrades.
LOL, if anyone wants to swap these SE plastics for red, the 3 other bikes are red... Last futzed with by archercc; August 18th, 2021 at 10:56 AM. |

Welcome to the board Ryan! Cool Griso. I enjoyed the heck out of my '89 Mille GT, but I sold it last year and replaced it with a Yamaha MT-07.
I got my Ninja 250 for my daughter to ride, but found that I ride it as much as she does. |

A smart purchase for sure, I owned 3 of the parallel twin Kawasakis, two 500 ninjas 91' & 07', and a 98 Ninja 250.
The best bang for the buck on the small parallel twins is suspension modifications I have found over the years. As far as the 300 goes the rear shock is quite adequate for someone about 200 lb or so the weak link is the front fork springs need to be either cut down and modified or order a replacement set to your weight and riding style most importantly of all.

Once again be sure to set it up for what the bike will be used for primarily. What works for one riding style, doesn't always work well for another. Also here is very useful link that has helped so many people https://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/Ninja250_Howto Either or way I'm sure you guys will enjoy the bike.

I've been able to see the first photo since it was posted, and I could see the second one a little while ago. Now both are gone!

No clue, I could swear I have the security setup right. Google Photos treats everything as a dick pic until you do a dance of getting in a "shared" state, then you can link. I can see it from incognito mode so Im not sure whats different.
Here is just a link to the album with the picture in it: https://photos.app.goo.gl/5S4s19859rTDW7V58 Maybe Im just going to have to give up on using them for hosting and copy pictures somewhere else. Someone on another site said they could see this picture, so hopefully at least this one plays nice: |

They all show for me too (nice!)
I store all my photos on Google Photos too because the backup is super handy, but I've noticed it's a pita for forums like this. I use Imgur on here.

Why not just directly upload them here? That works well for me.

Because I forgot how... I've been on another forum platform (platforum?) for the last few years and I don't recall how on this setup. All I see now is the image icon that prompts for a url. I will do a search...

Thanks. Gave it a tune up, adjustments and a shake down ride. Hopefully my girlfriend can get some practice on it this weekend.

Good looking bike bud! Hopefully the girlfriend enjoys it. They do make fantastic track/race bikes too. I’d get a few track days under your belt before you start with suspension changes. It really helps to know exactly what you want out the bike before making changes.

Thanks. Right now the challenge is finding tires in stock. Seems like everything for these sizes is on backorder.
Looking for something mainly road and mountain/canyon riding, Ill probably source another set of wheels for the track. |
