Yeah!

I remember my first full day riding after I got my learner's permit. Beautiful day, by myself, a borrowed Honda Ascot 500, really paranoid about cars, having a lot of fun! I remember thinking 35mph seemed like the perfect speed.

Fond memories!

It's starting to get difficult for me to remember the first steps

cherish that feeling of going fast at 35mph while you can, the early exploration is wonderful. Once you learn how to ride the bike you won't feel anything at 35mph...or 100 for that matter...
