Don't forget to check the wiki!
This tech section has been incredibly useful for storing some great discussions on just about every technical topic related to the ninjette. I know it will continue to be so, but I also just wanted to remind folks to check the ninjette.org/wiki to see if their technical question may have been approached before. Doesn't mean that we shouldn't start another thread right here, or even another 10 threads, about the exact same topic. But it does mean that we all can have a standard reference point to start from: "I see that the wiki entry says this, but I'm having an issue with this". Or "the wiki entry needs to be fixed/updated to include this".
And if you're contemplating writing a bang-on super-detailed explanation here in response to a tech topic, see if it wouldn't make sense to add it to the wiki and then link to it from the tech section here as a discussion point. Link to NinjetteWiki launch info...

Just so people know, we're working on making new wiki pages and updating the old ones as well! So if you are looking for info that you can't find by searching, you can try looking there as well. I just posted a LED lighting page for info on relays and diodes. http://www.ninjette.org/wiki/L.E.D_Lighting
Also, new categories like Trackdays is also being added. Come check it out! http://www.ninjette.org/wiki/Trackdays

Which page?
Edit: I see the wiki.ninjette.org URL doesn't work. For now, you can use http://www.ninjette.org/wiki/Index until Alex figures it out.

As awesome of a resourse as it is, it's a hell of a lot easier to be like "dammit, my bike won't start", run to compuer, go to www.ninjette.org, create new post, type "my bike won't start b/c blah blah blah", to eat a sammich and come back 30 minutes later and some super ninjetter has the solution for you.
You get to eat a sammich instead of doing research you see? |

Not sure if that was meant to be a joke... As helpful as we try to be, answering the same old questions wears on people.

Weird, something happened with that subdomain (wiki.ninjette.org) during the server move. In the meantime ninjette.org/wiki works fine, I'll see what I can do about getting the subdomain back up and running as well.

OK, I recreated the subdomain, and it should start to work again within in a hour or so; it also takes some time to propagate like other DNS changes.

At this point, wiki.ninjette.org is working for me again. Let me know if anyone else sees any further issues. Thanks for pointing it out!

The wiki software won't work without rolling back to an unsecure version of PHP if I recall. We'll have to wait until the forum is migrated to more modern software for the wiki to come back.
