I dont understand why you wont just order them in and have people buy them? Clearly there are a lot of people wanting these :?

Definitely like the Puig on Natalie's bike--understated class!

Timeline plus cost of shipping and importation versus trying to keep pricing low. It's a great product when there aren't any issues. But at this time the risk exceeds the possible small reward. If I could charge whatever I wanted and the customers were still there then sure I'd have them sitting on the shelf now. But who wants to pay near or north of $200 for a hugger.

I would gladly pay $200+ for a green hugger/swingarm cover. Everything else on the market, quite frankly, looks like crap.
I don't care how long I've got to wait. I will pay upfront. I want a green one, and I will pay top dollar. How do I order direct from Sportisi? |

My Scott's arrived this week. Very impressive work. A finish like no other. I recommend.
But I wish a bigger one with swingarm cover in the future.

I got my Sportisi hugger from another member who had issues with the install. I think the install was fine, in fact I had no issues at all other than needing to repair the damage that was previously done to the part. There were some adjustments that need to be made when fitting it, just like would have to be done installing a fiberglass body kit on a car.
I think that the real issue with the Sportisi hugger is that it borders on needing professional installation. |

I know this is off topic from the new-gens but when is someone going to make a hugger for the pre-gens?

I'm happy that the Sportisi hugger worked out for you. I was trying my best not to crack it during install, but at least you were able to fix it. What did you do to fix the crack in the center? Any pics of it installed? I think I may go with Scott's hugger in the near future as it looks like the install is a lot easier. Chris |

If I have any extra money the next time, I'll show you how it's done.
Auction descriptions are my specialty! Also, you need to know how to promote it. For example, none of us knew you had one on eBay! We could not bid. It would have gotten a LOT of attention if they could choose the color and bidding started at a penny. |

Today I bought a racing stand that has L-brackets that goes under the swingarm (no need for swingarm spools), just to realize I have to remove the Sportisi hugger to be able to use it.. The Sportisi hugger hanging 1cm below the swingarm on one side, and it will ofc crack if I lift it up. On the other side its okay.. I can't use a normal racing stand either, unless I drill out a big chunk of the hugger, and buy some spools + extra Y-brackets for my stand..
When I got the hugger it was bent and way too narrow, causing it to break in 2 places where the hugger itself connects to the swingarm cover. Only 1 of the drilled holes did actually fit the bike.. the rest, well they are just there, and the hugger itself sits so tight it bulges out away from where it should connect to the bike. I would definitely not buy this hugger again, even though it's the nicest looking one.. It's a very poor fit. I really like companies that take on making parts for our beloved bike, so I'm very sad to say I can't recommend this one |

So, ah, what's another recommendation. I'm not sure I'm crazy about the look of Scott's, and the Skidmarx is an absolute eyesore. |
