Pregen Clutch/Brake levers
Anyone using aftermarket levers on their pregen? If so, what are some good ones that are easy to switch out?

Look up the wiki page it'll tell you how to put on the adjustable levers I believe. Or look around on eBay or Amazon theirs mostly color choices If your not wanting adjustable ones. I bought blue levers and pegs.
Pegs have to be the correct size, I didn't know until after I bought mine so I had to rig it a little to work. |

I just bought some generic adjustable levers on eBay for ~$25 from China. Keep in mind that even if the listing says they'll fit the 88-07 Ninja 250, they'll likely won't -- the clutch lever will fit, but the brake lever will not.
So once you receive them, you'll have to send the seller a message saying that the lever doesn't fit and send them some pics of the stock brake lever so they can get a better idea of the correct lever to send you. At least that's what I had to do, but once I received the correct brake lever, everything fits and works great! |

My dad just replaced the clutch lever on my '06 with one from a ninja500 from the same era. It's beefier, but also adjustable.

I just did the levers on my EX500, it's 1991 I ordered a set but the clutch didn't fit the perch, I hit my spare parts and found a perch from a newer model EX500, the one that is adjustable, and the new lever fit, so it was, a simple swap out the perch and it's all good now.
The earlier models of the EX500 87~93, which are referred to as 1st Gen share parts with the PreGen Ninjette, one of the being the levers in most cases.

Yes it is black 3M reflective, I did that a long time ago, it does add some safety. Also I have reflective rim tape, and Ninja graphics on the tail section all in reflective orange.
The bar ends are extra heavy ones from HVMP.
