I like the Scout much better than the big Indians.

Got to ask yourself why an old Harley is worth so much money these days. I have been told Harley is going into the toilet because only the guys over 50 want to own a new one.
I saw plenty of younger guys and girls taking demo rides at Daytona! Frankly I think Harley is missing the boat by not having some dual sport models and a sport bike or two. I rode a Screaming Eagle 750. It was fast. Now use that engine to start some new lines. Indian/Polaris seems to have caught that idea. I hate to call them Indian because there is nothing Indian in the new bikes. Oh they are a V twin. |

I like the idea of more "modern retro styling" and I hope they make a smaller model.

The beauty about Harley's is there are about one zillion aftermarket manufactures of stuff to stick in or on your bike.
Want a cafe racer somebody makes a kit, want a bobber somebody makes a kit, want a maddMax bike there is a crap load of bolt on stuff. I understand that most Harley's are pretty heavy bikes to start with. My wife wanted to learn to ride, went to Harely school, and had to drop out. She just could not handle the weight of even the 500cc bike. If you are a very experienced rider you can handle bigger heavier bikes. You just try to avoid those situations where they get tooooo heavy. I have got to do that with my Fatboy. If it falls I've I got to get help to get it upright. Harley is not to interested in getting beginners into the sport of riding starting their heavy 500cc bikes. |

But rumor mill says that Harley is working on at least a scrambler, if not a dual sport, version of the 750 street. I'd also expect to see something along the lines of a street legal version of their dirt track racer. |

Harley is putting all their energy (I crack myself up) into electric bikes now. They have come up with a bike that will go 1342 miles on a charge at 80 to 100mph, with a 15 minute recharge time.

If they would get it to 150 mile range at highway speeds with a 15 minute recharge time I'd buy one. That's stopping every 2 hrs and taking a break for 15 minutes. You could do an Iron Butt on that if you picked the charging stations carefully.
