Broken Throttle Cable, Temporary Fix

So sadly, my throttle cable snapped I'll be ordering a new one tomorrow, but in the mean time I need to get this bike in working condition asap.

The cable snapped about an inch from the end with the nub that locks into the clutch lever. Has anyone used JB Weld to join two cables? This would only be temporary (for like a couple days, I need the bike ASAP as it is what I make my income off of).

Thanks
Cal

JB Weld will definitely not work.

I've use solder to re-join the cable once.

poop. thanks. It was a longshot. Unfortunately I don't have a solder, so I guess I'll have to wait for the new cable to come in.

btw, I see your in the east bay. Anywhere you know of in the bay that I could buy a replacement cable? I'm in the city, so I'm gonna call SF Moto tomorrow hopefully they have spare parts for the bike

Also check with Moto Java. They seem to have a lot of stuff for smaller older bikes.
