What's that I hear? It's the sound of 500SS and SB groaning for anyone who doesn't have a Ninja 400.
Hahah, sorry.

I think this may revive various custom-framed A•N•D EX500s hiding out in various garages. Even lighter than Ninja 400 with addition 15bhp... Hmmmm....

Going to look at this dropped bike for $2799 this weekend (it's 3.5-hr drive). Claims it was knocked over when parked, which damage appears to agree. But steering lock isn't working. Could be shifted triple-Ts or ignition's lock pin was bent in fall. For race bike, bodywork and ignition will be ditched anyway.

Not that it's a bad candidate for a racebike, bout that's about the worst "knocked over when parked" I've ever seen. I think "and then dragged" should be added to that description.

Yeah, it looked pretty beat up for just "tipped over while parked". Maybe it fell off truck while loading/unloading?
Boo! Called guy up Sat. morning to confirm and he sold it day before!!! Too bad, seems like a good deal for track bike as I'd be removing beat-up parts anyway. Did worry a bit about not-locking part; figured it was ignition that was damaged. Oh well, I've got automated Craigslist searched going. Might look into eBay as well. |

Knocked over when parked... by a suburban going 60. Hahah. Seriously it looked like a fine candidate though. My old 300 was low sided slow speed in gravel. That was good for a nice $800 under market value.
Newbs are crashing cheap bikes every day. Plenty more to go around.
