Hey, everybody!
Quick update on the bike - I got my carbs back from @.ducatiman this weekend, clean as a whistle:

After I installed them, and charged up the battery, I was able to start and run the bike flawlessly:

just ignore the rubber band

Not sure what the exact issue was, but it's definitely fixed now! Shoutout to ducatiman, who went out of his way to talk to me about possible issues and help me through them, and many thanks to all of you for your advice. Couldn't have done it without you!

Thanks for mentioning the ThermoBob, I ordered one and will be doing an upgrade this winter. Our springs are long and cold it should be really helpful during our springs and falls.

It's amazing what a difference it makes to have carburetors that are in factory-new condition!

I have just installed the bob 3 and it made a lot of difference, the temperature goes to about 195F and stays at that level. I did not have an opportunity to ride it - we have 0C today with snow and freezing rain. But even idling I can tell the difference. The gauge now operates just like a car gauge.

Thanks for the recommendation. Ill run it through the full test cycle in spring

A bit I would say , it was -6C this week (about 20F) but we were lucky and we got white Christmas. The New Year is looking raining however.
