----------------- The final practice session was a familiar sight in familiar conditions in Portimão and it was hardly a surprise to see Pecco Bagnaia’s name at the top of the standings at the chequered flag. The Italian tried the hard rear tyre and then the medium one and was quick and consistent on both, topping a close session by six hundredths of a second. Johann Zarco finally got up to speed and briefly led the way in FP3, before getting demoted to second, while Luca Marini made a late jump up to third.
