missing upper fork bush
I've got a written off 2008 250r with 6000kms that I am fixing up. The forks were leaking oil everywhere, so I pulled them apart, and notiched that the upper bush and washer is *missing* !!! (the oil and dust seals were both present)
The only service record in the manual is the 1000km service. Whilst I don't know the full history iof the bike it seems likely that is came out of the factory like that, how is that possible? I can only guess that missing that part would cause the handleing to be absolutely awful? Perhaps it contributed to the the previous owner crashing? |
