Touring Shield for 09
Baby, it's coooold outside.....
I've been thru the net looking for an extended shield and see that nothing is offered that's over 4" ( Zero-G). A shop called Gustaffson Plastics in FL has agreed to build one for me at the reasonable price of $149. I have a Gustaffson +8 on my FZ6 and it does exactly what I want, stops a lot of air. For Gustaffson, this will be a first...I have to send them my stock shield to build from. So...the stock bonnet goes in the mail today and i'll be back with a detailed report when I get the new one back. Gustaffson is my kinda shop...you get to talk to the owner and the spectrum of work they've done over the years is amazing. I'm very excited and I told him that what he delivers is going up on this board in detail. So yeah, among ninjetters, if a few of you dropped him an inquiry...if you're really interested in a long shield, not just to pressure him into a perfecto job,,,it would mos def serve me and the community as a whole. Good vendors deserve attention. |
