vaccuum petcock now is gravity powered
it appears the petcock on this bike no longer works through vacuum but just pours out regardless, is there going to be any serious adverse effects of running a basically just normal gravity fed one on this bike or is it worth the rebuild?

The problem happens if one of the carbs develops a leaking float valve. Then the engine's crankcase can fill up with gasoline, causing you lots of grief. It could even pour gasoline onto your garage floor. I wouldn't risk running it with an always-on petcock.
