Greetings from Boston
Hi all , Another 250 owner in Boston , I see we have a few and maybe we've seen each other on the road? Glad to be here and cant wait to get my new tires installed this weekend. The weather looks great the next few days after 10 inches of rain! Can wait to get out and ride...
The bike is running great after the winter hibernation in my living room! Started right up 2 weeks ago. Whew... |

Welcome Joe - glad to have you with us. Hibernating in the living room? Either there isn't a significant other or you had better lock her up so she can't escape.

Where do you ride? I've been on most of the roads around that area. I lived in Walter Baker's old house (Baker's Chocolate) in Milton for a long time when I was a kid.

All over boston, North end, South Boston, Waterfront, back and forth to work in metro west. Ninja 250 is the perfect city bike to get around town and not have to pay $30 to Park!

Hey Terrorizer - Welcome - I'm from Boston too! = ) So many people from either Boston or MA lately. I think we might just take over the place as soon as everyone wakes up from hibernation. I usually hang around Newbury St.

You guys need to get out of town. A quick trip through the Blue Hills is much more fun than Storrow Drive.

Hey man welcome to the forums, i just got a 250 a couple weeks ago... also in Boston.
Newbury street sounds like a good idea but it wasn't too fun with all the people flowing into the street. I def needa get outta the city to enjoy the bike a little. It has saved me a ton on parking already though.. |

Ive never ridden up newbury street, Ive done it in my car enought to know it would be no fun on my bike, too many girls on cellphones and expensive cars doing nothing. Get out to the suburbs where you can ride alone and in peace! much more fun on a nice day without traffic and stop lights every 5 feet. I do ride through the city sometimes to get to the harbor and see something cool and that can be fun but draining. You have to be 100% alert at all times. Congratulations on the new Bike, the 2008 and up look really nice, but I'm kickin it old school for now and having a blast. Ride safe!
