Hybrid prototype

I think this is the hybrid for me. After all we need to conserve and be responsible.

I propose a new Cash-for-Clunkers law. If you turn in a car that gets less mileage the government gives you one of those. Call your congressmen now.

Awesome, it has a 500 horsepower V8 and an additional 218 horsepower from the electric motors for a total of 718 horsepower. You can be invironmentaly friendly and look cool while doing it!

There was just an article about this in one of the car mag's I get. It has an urban driving mode so it can run on full electric for a while. I think the people driving around their murcielago's in the village are idiots, I guess this makes a little more sense since when your scraping up that beautiful body (which will probably be what we will see for the Carrera GT replacement) you wont be killing the environment.

http://www.teslamotors.com/ Here's a production, completely electric sports car that's been around for a few years. It's based on a Lotus chassis iirc.

The tesla is nice. Seen a couple driving around before. Its weird you expect to hear a nice sounding exhaust note but it just glides by nice and quitely. From what I remember they were about 140k. And then there's the fisker karama...

The tesla is about 110k base and 125k for the sport model, but you can add 45k in the blink of an eye with carbon fiber parts and leather interior and sport wheels and suspension. The car can quickly cost 150-180k with all the carbon fiber bits and leather added.

We just had a tesla dealer open down the street a few months ago. My friend really likes them and is a supporter on their website since back before they developed the car, so he got an invitation to the pre-opening part. So we all went.
We pull up in his GF's 1995 Toyota corrolla. We park surrounded by Lamborghini's, Ferrari's, Bentley's, etc. Ya, a bit out of place there!

I keep seeing Tesla Roadsters in San Diego. It's weird. Millionaires must be all around me!
