$15 clock/compass/thermometer
Picked this up at advanced auto parts today, thought I would share.
If it was black instead of silver it would be perfect, but I think it looks fine the way it is. I mainly bought it for the compass but the clock and thermometer are nice too. |

It actually comes with a velcro thing so you can take it off to change the battery if needed. The velcro is stuck on with double sided tape though.

Very Nice! I really wish the ninja 250s came with a clock i'm very tempted to invest in one of these as well.....The green would look perfect but where would u get paint that matched the bike so well?

Color Rite would be best but too expensive. I'd just buy whatever lime green spray paint and clear coat they have at the auto parts store and hope for the best.
Off topic but, where in WI are you Kayla? My friends and I are always looking for more people to cruise with and you're more than welcome to join us if you're in the area! |

Is it waterproof?
I had a clock from a parts store and the first time it rained....time to buy another!

I doubt it but it's covered by the windshield so I don't think it would be a problem. And I try not to ride in the rain.

Really only needs to be water-resistant for even direct rain.

Really cool, especially if you paint it. I absolutely must pick this up. $15 is nothing if it stops me from having to always pull over just to see what time it is on long joy rides.

I was looking at those the other day when I dumped my oil. Decided to leave em though.
Now that I see how they look, I might just head back up there |

Just as an FYI, walmart and amazon also carry this item. There's no advance auto parts near me so I had to order off of walmart. They carry it in some stores but just not near me. I did site to store so it's free shipping to the walmart near me.
