different color?

Just curious if anybody wishes they got their bike in a different color? Sometimes I wish I got red or green just to stand out more. But then again if I got red or green I'd probably want black.. anyone else?

Black is a pain to keep clean. I saw a blue one at the dealer not too long ago and if I had to do it again I'd get one. But then again, just ask yourself what color would Johnny Cash get? Black FTW.

Black looks better when compared to other colors without the solo cowl and undertail, but I LOVE my blue with blue rims and chain and I will be adding the solo cowl and undertail.

I got a red one. Why would anyone ever want a different color?

i'm a chick, so like most chicks i like to be color coordinated...gotta ride with style. lol so with black you can pretty much wear any type of gear, but with other colors you gotta be specific in the colors you choose. lol like my bike is red, so i have to make sure all my gear matches.

i know its a lame response, but its my feminine side typing at this moment.

Even though I'm on a black bike I stick with black or white gear because i think if I was wearing a different color it would still look weird. But u can def get away with wearing a green helmet on a black bike... not a green helmet on a red bike.

I really wanted the early 2000's green but the few that came up were way overpriced or too badly wrecked. I ended up with an '06 blue, a nice blue, but then I got hit by a truck. http://forums.ninja250.org/viewtopic...=790295#790295

So then I painted it orange. http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=44144

I'm thinking this fall of painting another set of plastics to the green I originally wanted, that way I can swap out colors every once in a while.

The only bad thing about the green...is that there is virtually NOTHING that matches it. Trying to find a good jacket, or helmet in kawasaki green is next to impossible unless you want to order the expensive racing replica stuff, or deal with cheap junk.

Not so much different color as different year model.

It just looks dated. Good thing about that is not too many people want to mess with it. They think that it is an old bike even when it really isn't.

Sometimes I wish I had a white bike since the few I've seen online look really good with white plastics, black frame / swingarm / engine etc. and either black or gold wheels.

But then I remember that if it says "Ninja" on the side it *HAS* to be green and am happy I got my '09 S.E. green 'un.

I'll agree with this, even though I have the '09 blue. I searched high and low to find a CP Blue '08 when I was in the buying process, but to no avail.

However, I do get a TON of compliments on the '09 blue when people see it in the sunlight. Under poor light conditions or artificial lighting, it looks a bit too purple for my taste.

I like the '08 color palette the best. It had the best blue, best red, best green (solid, can't stand the SE greens), and black. That was definitely the year to get a ninjette. I was just a year late to the party.

Easily! I tried to get black (sold out from under me even with a deposit), then thought I was getting stuck with red (canceled by Kawasaki). In the mean time, I saw someone else's blue pre-sold though still waiting on a showroom floor. I fell in love with it right there. After Kawi canceled all remaining '08 orders including my Passion Red, in desperation, I called dealers several states away. I found one which had received an unexpected shipment of 4 EX250J bikes the day earlier. They weren't supposed to get a rival dealer's orders after a buyout, so none had deposits on them. Even though it was less than 24hrs later, only a single one remained... CP Blue. I lucked out! I paid my deposit over the phone and drove up there to pick it up two days later. *swoon*

Best black is the '09 metallic!

Black does show dirt too easily, but I wouldn't want to trade it for another colour.

I think the correct question here should be....

What color do the hottie's like?

And then we all make arrangements accordingly.

You can always buy all the plastics and a tank in another color and then swap colors as you please.
I actually thought about doing this when there was a complete set of green plastics on eBay that ended up selling for about $300. Then I would have just needed a green tank.

I like my Red, though.

I've seen 2 white ones and man they are freakin HOTTTT! If I ever decide to paint myine- white will be it.

As for the CPB 08 vs the Blue 09...a friend of mine brought his 09 over and we compared them side by side and man the 08 CPB really stands out!! I guess that's where the "Candy Plasma" part comes in.

I thought I wanted black at first--but ehn realized in a weird way it made the bike look even smaller....you know how FAT chix wear black all the time--hahahahaa

Before I bought my bike I looked at the brochure for the various colors that were available. The color I liked best was the Dark Blue. The dealership only had a bike in gray and tried their hardest to get me to buy it because I could have that bike rite away but would have to wait a month for the bike of my color to be shipped in. I waited for the bike to come and have been very pleased with my bikes color. The only thing I did not like about the color scheme was that the lower fairing was gray. I lived with it that way for quite a while until a month ago when I painted it blue to match the rest of the bike.

If you don't like the color you can always paint all or just parts of the bike to suite your taste. Have fun and make the bike uniquely yours.

Actually I heard they are making a SE 2011 model that is white don't know if its coming to the US though. For a good paint job probably around $1000 but could be as low as $500 maybe cheaper
