My wife and I have know each other since high school, but didn't get together 'till about 10 years after that. (One of us was always in a relationship.)

One day I picked up the phone at work, and she was calling to ask me out. We married a year later...

Been there, Done that--really bites. The whole scene is so unreal. Went to my 50th H.S. Reunion. What a bummer! The same cliques, same inane conversations. Lots of people gone. My Senior Prom date died 10 yrs ago from Breast Cancer. Most of the guys were pitifully out of shape except four of us who work out, watch our weight---two of us ride Sport bikes and bicycles, the other two are runners. The others could not believe that I race bicycles (also build them) and am still competitive at 68. I still wonder what I will do when I grow up. It was a revelation. Haven't seen any of them since 1960

ok, so i have a question on your little story...if you met the girl that you thought was beautiful and you found out that she's single, same religion and is looking for a man...why in the world would you take her picture to show your friends???? why not jump at the opportunity yourself that very second??. i'm surprised she didn't think you're a goof ball in the beginning telling her to take her picture and show yoru friends. WOW. loool

Well, basically when during religous service, you don't date. So There was no way I could date her. I'm glad that no one took me up on the offer, because now she is all mine
