Noob Question: Why isnt my choke isnt working?

So I finally got my bike able to start up after replacing the spark plugs. I cleaned the carbs not too long ago and now for some reason my choke doesnt work. By this i mean ill put it all the way on and the rpms wont go up or change at all not matter how i adjust it. I know that i need to adjust the throttle cable because when i turn the handles all the way to the right and roll the throttle, it doesnt snap back, it kinda just slowly rolls back but not all the way. Could that be the reason why?

Did you reconnect the choke cable to the slide mechanism on the carbs after you finished cleaning them?

Happens to lots of us. Just adjust the cable and be done with it!

Are your linkages and stops adjusted correctly? Does the throttle & choke cable need lubing or is it kinked?

ah... i just looked at i guess i never reattached the cable. Dont tell me im going to have to take out the airbox again to attach it...
