fork spring upgrade
Was looking for some input on aftermarket fork spring upgrades if anyone has done this. Im not looking for anything crazy for racing just a little bit better over stock for wheelies and such......I do not need to hear oh that's bad for th bike blah blah just want some good info on upgrades. Thanks

Welcome to the forum! You might be interested in this thread. It's not about fork springs but it allows you to adjust how stiff/loose you want the suspension. hope that helps.

Very possible my bike is bone stock except a mgp slip on and I can do stand ups all day long in second not very hard to do if you know what your doing.

took me about a week to get the sweet spot in the power range but once you find it it's easy.

Ditto on the question though... My front end feels a little squishy but I don't want to go to a full teeth shattering race setup. Richard, Matt... any suggestions?

use a race-tech emulator and springs-they will sent you right spring for your weight-day and night runs about 200.00 for both

Let us know if you get the cartridge emulator. I'm a tad too hefty for the stock springs. |

I thought the front was to soft as well. I installed Race Tech .80 springs with Slingshot Racing preload adjusters. I weigh 216 and now I think the front is just right.
