per their website
*New* - As of 12/15/2010 - All systems now include Area P custom exhaust port gaskets at no extra charge. Area P designed gaskets feature additional "crush volume" for superior sealing. my question is what happens if one person misses the payment deadline. Is the whole thing cancelled for the 9 that payed? |

A reputable company like Area P wouldn't treat their customers like that. Even if one person failed to pay, there are still 9 new customers being brought in to buy a product. Raising the price due to one persons failure to pay would cause most of us to drop out of the Group Buy and then they would lose a good chunk of business.

Basically, just makes it so you won't have to worry about scrapping the exhaust.

Hi Guy's...
I may be in, Does anyone have idea how much additional I would need to add for shipping? Would an additional 50 to 100 bucks cover a full system with the 18 inch muffler to Seattle, WA. ?

Exhaust Port Gaskets
Would the exhaust port gaskets ever need to be replaced? Is it one time use? If I ever removed the exhaust do they need to replaced?

Hi, I'm in france, so how much would the shipping cost? Also i'd need a socket for the lambda sensor (fuel injection). I contacted them a while ago and the said they would weld one on for free. Is it still true with this GB offer?
I'd be in for a "Full Stainless Steel System, 18" Quiet Carbon Fiber Muffler". Thanks. |

I would like to replace my Tyga exhaust due to excessive noise. I just want to be sure I am clear on the specifics. Any "race" system requires loss of pass footpegs, and the shorter muffler makes more noise but less power than the longer muffler?
Is it possible to get the longer muffler NOT in carbon fiber? I would like the quiet 18", but CF is hideous. It doesn't appear this is an option from looking at their website. Do the race systems include the mounting bracket that replaces the peg, or is that an additional separate charge? Can I order a system with an oxygen sensor bung in the pipe? |

I quote: "shipping: Discounted Domestic and International"
I was hoping for a discount on shipping too, in thoses conditions (even higher shipping than when I asked last time), I won't be part of this GB. Since I pay importing fees on both the product price and the shipping, it would be more expansive than a road legal full exhaust in france. |

Not to annoy you, but there is no way I can special order it with a SS 18" can vs a CF, even if I pay extra?

I'm pretty sure that is in fact an option with Area P. I think it's what kkim had on his bike. Here is picture of one on a pregen too. I'm sure it should be available on this race system as well. May need to contact Kerry direct.

I was one of the "early adopters"
I bought mine when Area P first offered a Classic gen EX-250 exhaust. It's been several years of use now without a single problem from the day I installed it to the 100 miles of riding I did today. |

you managed a whole 100 miles in a couple years of riding? no wonder there are all of those old bikes with low miles available xD
or maybe you meant to write 100k miles

oh, i believe there are some punctuations missing then, but i could be wrong, i read it the other way around "form the time you put it till today you drove 100 mile" rofl
English is actually my first language, i went to school in Australia, and i am not Indonesian either. anyhow, no insult intended, i just found it funny that someone might have only driven a bike so little after installing such a nice exhaust i <3 my AreaP too, hehehe

PM'ed him my info. I was suprised at how good this exhaust sounds and 10+ HP at the wheel over stock? I'd be happy with those gains on a car, that's insane for a 250cc engine.

F*********** sorry to be that guy, but I just found out gonna need some new tires for the car all four need to get replaced soon. F'ing dealer over inflated all of them so they are really worn in the middle and I've been so busy I didn't check them again till today. Why do they always decide "hmm its at factory lets pump it to 40psi that's much better." Gotta have the car for commuting my 80 mile commute so don't have much choice.
Well I'll stay in this for the moment if I can get a bit extra money, but its back to maybe status for me... Sorry again hopefully someone else gets in or Kerry is alright with 9 (WhiteRice if you could pm me how he feels about that that would be helpful). BUT don't count me out we have till the week of the 21st to start paying correct? If so I have some time to get stuff straightened out.
