hahaha sadly no. Or else I would be there trying to pick up ladies
That's so surreal, seeing the houses and walls and trees go by that fast while the motorcycles literally fly down the track. I hope some day to be lucky enough to just go watch a race there. That track must be an absolute blast to ride. It also looks exhausting. They zigzag so fast. wow. Respect THAT course |

The guy that was in that crash is MilkyQuayle. He is way cool. When you go to the Isle of Mann. Be sure to look for the Milky Quayle bus tour. You ride around the track in a bus and Milky goes through it inch by inch turn by turn. It is the coolest thing .I did it twice.
I love the grocery list at the end. Feed my spleen to the dogs. My lung is healed the kidney is back on line. Once he gets a new bike he will be good as new. |

The Isle of man can draw huge crowd and congest much of local traffic during that week, consider the Manx GP an alternative to the large tourist crowd.
Manx Grand Prix (end of August to the beginning of September) over the Isle of Man TT (end of May to the beginning of June), because there were fewer people and of those people in attendance, they were all serious motorcycle enthusiasts. Evidentially, the Isle of Man TT has it's share of 'posers'. Getting Ferry tickets to the Isle of Man is no easy endeavour, so with fewer people attending the Manx GP, the easier it will be getting to the Isle of Man. I've heard people going to the IoM TT making reservations on the Ferry 2 years in advance. Same goes with hotels, bed & breakfasts and camping. And last, but not least, the weather is far better during August and September. |

You are correct about the crouds for the TT .I went a week early Booked my hotel late.200 a night But it was on the prrom in Douglass. After the first week of eating and drinking,O and watching motorcycles ..Suddenly on Friday the place turns from Quiet European town full of motorcycles. To a carniville 60,000 people show up all at once. Then the party is on.

Definitely some of the most exciting races I watched on TV this summer. All the races I believe were carried on Velocity HD, not live though. I think they were played back in Aug or Sept.
