I need to find the rubber gasket portion pointed out on the gas cap.
Mines deteriorated and doesn't seal the cap. It fits loose and the gas fumes comes through. |

Yeah I already check the diagrams but it doesn't show that part of the gas cap. I might have to improvise with a large rubber hose?

You are missing a bunch of parts. There is a lot more than just a gasket there. A metal ring, some springs, rubber hat, etc. At this point, especially with the corrosion shown, you would be better off replacing the entire filler cap assembly.
http://forums.ninja250.org/viewtopic...r+parts#790190 Swapping the lock cylinder is fairly easy to do. |

Really? That does make much more sense now that I look at it closer.
