You have me and @2010Zen for sure! Brother is an ex 250r rider, he now owns a CBR1000, got another friend up the street on a 250 but he recently got hit so he'll be down for a bit. My brother and I normally ride with a group of guys and we go through the twisties out at Lake Mead but they're largely on 1000cc super sports

Was just actually doing a test run today at Red Rock, that's more of a cruising place for me personally, lots of nit picky park rangers, and the road conditions in the loop itself make me nervous. Another place that I thoroughly enjoy besides Lake Mead is the connecting road between Kyle Canyon and Lee Canyon up in the mountains. Sweet twisties on top of an amazing view. I'd say you probably joined the best place to find us though!

Are there any members in Las Vegas?
I'll be getting a ninja soon and I'll also be moving to Henderson around July so I was hoping to meet up with some of you around there.

Before you move to Henderson you have to come ride with the So. Cal crew so you can say you've met us at least once!

If everything goes as planned I'll have the bike towards the end of may. I'll only have my permit so any rides I go on will have to stick to the streets and highways.

Haha that's good. If my plans for the rest of my life work out I'll be out on my own and in the military before I get stuck with my parents in vegas.
As for the MSF course, I'm already signed up. Hopefully the California MSF will transfer to Nevada so I can get my license without re-taking the class. |

Las Vegas Riders
Hey I just moved from SoCal and I've been looking for some twists to go riding on but have yet to find anything.
Any help or a nudge in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Would love to go on a group ride to get to know some people out here. |

If you're feeling a little more on the confident side you could take the bike up to Mt. Charleston. Going up Kyle Canyon then taking the connector road at the top over to Lee Canyon is very twisty with good/fair road conditions. The patrol up there is unpredictable though also you have a fair amount of wild life (aka: deer) to avoid.
