CCT Removal
Seems like my CCT is loose as I'm getting a slight rattle when slightly revving at idle. I've been thinking of resetting the CCT or purchasing a manual CCT from APE.
I've never removed the old one before, would I need to drain any of the oil out or will I lose any oil? If so, I plan on doing an oil change this weekend anyway. |

No need to drain the oil. Unless the CCT is broken, there's really not much to reset tho.

Is there any way to royally **** up the installation on a manual CCT? From all I've read I know to not crank the tensioner down uber tight and to tighten down the two side retaining bolts as evenly as possible.

Yes, don't rotate the engine while the CCT is out.
