Does Anyone in SoCal Want to Make Some Extra Cash?
I need help swapping out my sprockets and chain (and possibly my brake pads as well), so if you're in the SoCal area and want to make some extra cash just sitting around telling me what to do and how to do it, I'd appreciate your assistance.
I will do all the work myself, just want someone there coaching me so I don't mess anything up. I'll ride over to your place with whatever tools I can bring (and hopefully you'll have the tools that I don't have). I've never done any work on my bike beyond oil changes and lubing the chain, and I'm far from mechanically inclined, so you can imagine me doing work like this on my lonesome could be too much to handle. In case you're all wondering why I'm asking for help and not just going to a dealership to get it done, I don't want to fork over cash to a stealership for this work. Plus, if someone teaches me how to do it, I can do it on my own later on when it needs to be done again, instead of giving cash to a stealership. I'm willing to pay for your help; just send me a PM if you're interested and tell me how much $ you would like, I'll let you know if I can swing it. Yes, I realize this post may make me come off as pathetically disinclined with motorcycle maintenance, and yes, I do know there are DIY threads here, but I don't want to risk doing any work I've never seen/done before on my own. Either way, I'm in a tight spot right now and I NEED this done ASAP. Please PM me only if you're seriously interested in helping me. Thanks in advance.
