another Rabies build.
il post here to all the changes and upgrades. iv ordered lots of things.
iv searched long and hard for "how to" instructions for the things i was going to do...looks like il be the one making a how to. got the bike last month last owner busted all the fairings and had 3yr wiring job done on it. took the fairings off (blasphemy, i know..... conned my buddy into buying a pregen as well. he will get all my parts i take off i took the cover off the seat and chopped some foam out. looked like junk when i was done. so i taped the whole seat. seat had rips anyways. relocated the plate temproaryliyyoy i dont have a chain guard to mount to i gutted the under plastics since the rear of the frame and seat will be chopped. and i used a spring for now for the seat from lowes used a piece of angle iron to move the taillight back since i ditched the rear grab bar i have clip ons/mirrors/ turn signals/helmet/rear stand 08 wheel and swing arm coming in mail along with a small digital guage setup(which there will be a write up since i havent found any) il be replacing the large front sprocket with the smaller stock one i have. full muzzy exhaust, air pods, and a jet kit from a local shop. then il crash it hard and get another bike(happnes 99% of the time....)

Sub'd always love to see these tranformations. Reupholstering your seat isn't too hard, I can scrounge up some links if you're going to do it.
Edit: Also, bigger pictures, I can't see anything! |

moved the coolant tank up
new brace before cutting frame new seat alignment and shorter base needs a new seat. cut it in half. installed mirrors installed pods next is finish fiberglassing seating. install jet kit and exhaust. finish sanding gas tank for repaint....flat green.. but while wiggling off the fairing tabs...this tab made a hole. easy fix bike needs rewired. i leave you with this disaster looking pic

It's coming along. Interesting build so far.
Just curious here, any reason you went with individual pods instead of a single K&N R-0990 with two holes? I went with the R-0990 because it was reasonably priced on Amazon, and it looks cool imho exhibit A: |

I knew you had something planned with this bike. Looking good so far.
Are you planning on doing the front end suspension conversion as well? |

Just run the turn signals without resistors. They'll probably just run fast and while its technically against the law no one will say anything or do anything about it.

Just confirming: there are clip-on's on your bike, correct?
And wouldn't leaving the tops of the forks exposed cause problems down the road? |

forks? gsxr600. they r inverted n a cool gold color. but are 50mm up top so dif trees n stuff hav to be used. some researing to do of course is what il hav to do.
got the jet kit in. used the larger jets. adjusted the mixture n it idles n runs now. i threw away the kickstand sensor so it would die aftr trying to drive off. realized becuase it was unplugged. so i jus connected the 2 ends together n ditched the sensor. i jus hav to get the seat done n tuck some wires n its done

The bike looks great so far and your skill shows, but please give us bigger pictures of your bike at some point. |
