i put it towards the front away from anything like the motor or electrical just like the pic told me too. it was at least six inches from anything but plastic. thats where the directions told me to put it

I just had to look up what this is - So this is a magnet you put on your bike that's supposed to aid in triggering green lights at intersections with the traffic sensors, correct?

the magnet does not help trigger the coils at all especially when compared to the massive chunk of steel it is attached to.
i think the two are unrelated.

notice how the article itself says that it doesnt work.
the coils create a large field. a tiny magnet will effect it. but not anywhere close to the amount that a 300 pound hunk of steel will effect it.

I got the Green light Trigger HP (High Power) and it did a fat lot of nothing. I thought that even being slightly more likely to trigger a light was worth it, but I never got a single known-problematic light to work with it that wouldn't work just as often without it. I did EVERYTHING daily including positioning, sidestand-dropping, starter, revving, flashing high beams to pulse my electrical, etc.

They were definitely inductive loops that worked fine with a car triggering them. San Diego loops all have circular cuts in the road so it's hard to know where to put your wheels.

no cars? redlight? run it.
in IL there was a law if you waited more than 5 minutes you can run it. i had a magnet on a bike once..actualy works. the redlight dealies work off of current not the weight of a car
