Lowered/shortened Kickstand
Can somebody with the RT kickstand get a measurement on the length from the pivot bolt to the end. I have to cut down the wife's. Thanks.

About an inch, inch and a half maybe. The wifey is scared it will fall over to the right side now in a stiff breeze. I mean it is pretty upright. It's more of a confidence booster for her.

Bill - I don't know of anyone with the shortened kickstand, but I understand her concern. One thing that helps me is that I pull it towards me a bit to get it to settle on the kickstand a little more, and that makes it seem more stable to me... I'm sure it's almost entirely mental, but hey, if it works....

I have a RT kickstand but the bike is at my parents garage so i can't measure it right now, sorry. When i put the stock and RT side by side it was about an inch shorter and i lowered the bike in the middle hole of the RT lowering link which i believe is 1.5 inches. The bike stood too straight with the stock.
