i don't know the specs on the pregen, but if bore and stroke is same and cc is same then i would not expect there to be a big change in compression from one head to the other as they should be similar in that respect.

What about plug position and depth? are they different?

other than that gasket thickness and do the seals and gaskets line up?

If so and it bolts on why the hell not?

Sorry i just kinda asked questions with no answers, again i have no knowledge of the pregen

just did a quick search, 2007 ninja250r compression ratio is 12.4:1 new gen is 11.6:1 but bore and stroke looked the same so something is different whether it be the head, the piston or both either way it sounds dicey. But if it did all fit together with no issues, might be a cheap way to get some higher compression out of the pregen 250 instead of, HC piston or thinner gaskets. Sounds to good to be true

Nope . The cam chain tensioner will be trouble.the guides will be all different. I suppose it would be better than the other way. Then you would not have a tensioner.

You can't change pistons from old to new. Except 2007 the dome shape will hit the head
