If the lights come on the battery is most likely ok. There are two other places you could check: There are two safety switches, one on the clutch lever and one on the kick stand, if either are damaged your bike will not start. The switches could have been damaged and worked fine once but after repeated use, given up the ghost, especially the clutch switch. However, I am just stabbing at random things that would cause the bike not to start.

Do as others suggest, get the bike running, buy some gear, and learn to ride. Only then fix the cosmetic damage and farkle the bike.

But anyway, yeah, please take the advice everyone is giving you. I know what it's like to go down and the first thing you want to do is fix all the things on your bike. but before you think about doing that, you really need to analyze what exactly caused you to go down and address that because if you didn't learn anything from the down, you're just going to do it again and waste even more money and possibly not be as lucky as you were the last time in terms of your own safety.

Priority list i'd suggest.
Make sure bike is mechanically functional before hopping on again
Gear up
MSF
Practice, in a closed parking lot, all your basics

Riding is fun, let's make sure you are around to continue enjoying it.

^^^^THIS!

And I'll add that it would probably be a good idea to figure out exactly what happened in your crash. Reasons are twofold, one to make damn sure it doesn't happen again, and two is so you can figure out what all could be broken on your bike. Clutch/kickstand switch (starting) issue you're having is a perfect example of #2. Whether you talk that out here or with an experienced rider (an MSF instructor would be the best), you need to get a handle on what happened.

Glad you're OK man.
