03 ninja for sale! Trade for WR
Hey whats up guys, its time for me to move on from the ninja. I want a WR250X or WR250R so i can do some offloading because I'm moving to a place with some trails.
I am selling my 2003 Kawasaki Ninja 250R with extras. The bike is just shy of 3,000 miles (2,996). The tires are nearly new. It runs perfectly and looks great. I bought it around 9 months ago as my first motorcycle. I have never dropped it and I added a few extra things to it. Always kept under a cover or in a garage. The previous owner did repaint it from green to black, and signed it on both sides (as seen in the pictures). It still looks good and is perfect for a beginner rider. Bike has a clean title. Needs nothing but a new rider. Im in no rush to sell. Price is $2300. Text (954) Six Two One-5594 or email Video of the bike here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0NWVbZwDsM Extras include: -H.I.D. bulb in the front light (still have the stock bulb) -Extra H.I.D. bulbs -Flush mount turn signals (Still have the stock turn signals) -LED strips on the front and the back of the bike (adds to visibility) -New spiked bar ends (Uninstalled, easy to install if you want to, the stock bar end are fine.) -New windscreen Last futzed with by 2003ninja; December 8th, 2012 at 10:50 AM. |

There is on this site. Why don't you put up the pics and description into the thread itself instead of just the craigslist link that will expire shortly?

Good luck finding a WR250 for a decent price. I settled for a KLX250SF when I was looking for a WRX. You shouldn't rule out the KLX but if there are many used WR's in your area definitely get one.

There are as many KLX as there are WR in my area. Could you tell me some of the advantages of the KLX over the WR? I would want to put knobbies on it. It looks like a nice bike though. Thanks!

Well, don't get the WRX or KLXSF as they are the supermotos as you may know. They are set up for the street. I know for a fact Kawa changed up the suspension on the SF model. And if you want one with knobbies buy one with knobbies as converting wheels can be expensive. Then you have to mess with the suspension as well. Um, the KLX's only advantage for me was that it was cheaper and I kinda just ended up with it. Long story. Haha. If you can find a Yamaha. Get it. It is the better bike. FI, better front suspension, longer valve clearance checks. But if you are a Kawasaki fan and like carbs more than FI then get the KLX. I like the KLX's headlight over the dated WR's but that is just my opinion. |
