New vs pre gen carb spacing.
Is the carb spacing the same?
Thanks. |

carb boots from head to Carbs are shorter on the newgens by a good inch or more.

I was wondering about the side to side spacing.
Sort of disappointed. Bought the bike with the intention of flat slide carbs and nothing is offered except the TMR-MJN Yoshimura Mikuni's at about $1mil! |

Was trying to find a way to lengthen the intake tract for a little more low end power.

Maybe try sticking a piece of pipe in the boot and slip a coupler over the end of the pipe?
