Has anyone ever...
so I go fishing at times on my motorcycle with my fishing rod and a few tackle shoved in my bagpack. But, has anyone gone hunting? lol
I'm thinking of using my gym bag which is a pretty good size and just breaking my shotgun down and stuffing it in the bag tied down onto the passenger seat. I wonder how the ninja will perform off road as well. since I would rather bring my bike into the forest rather than park it some random place and then hike for miles and not knowing if anyone is going to mess with it or take it. I do have a car but don't think it will do so well off roading. Its a 2011 Honda fit so its pretty low to the ground and rocks would just chip away at the body kit. Any thoughts? Just curious. Turkey season is just weeks away!

ahhh hmmm...
So what you gonna do with a 25lb bird if you do manage to bag one? People have a different idea of off roading here is a vid of some guy taking his 250 on dirt roads. and there is a vid somewhere of a guy and i think a gsxr and he takes it on a muddy quad trail and dumps it a few times. |

I've always clean them before I go home. I will also have a bagpack so if I get lucky, I'll clean it up and bag it. It will not go to waste. I'm just curious to see if people have gone off roading with their bikes. Its just an option I'm considering.

got ya, like i was kind of getting at, dirt roads will be no problem anything hard pack basically, just go around the rocks that stick up high. I think you are going to run into issues if you think you are going to navigate through or around mud and loose dirt/sand.

I've taken my 500 on some lighter dirt trails, just loose gravel and I went up and down a fairly steep very bumpy bulldozer trail once, bike did fine. The lighter 250 otta be even better off road but aside from somewhat tame trails I wouldn't want to go off road on a sport bike lol. I know next to nothing about dirt riding anyways

Did some gravel trails and light mud/ debris.
I recommend a tire change before going into anything worse. Also ground clearance is a big factor in choosing paths.
