I knew a couple who would tour and camp on the husband's Ninja 250. Pre-gen, totally stock IIRC, or maybe with a replacement rear shock. The speed they would travel and the way they would take on the curves and twisty highways was pretty impressive, especially considering how much luggage they would also carry.
My wife and I will do short rides 2-up, so far nothing more than a couple hours. Very capable. The common factor is none of us are 'large people'. I may weigh 160 lbs in gear, my wife weighs maybe #150 lbs in gear. |
