hi there
greetings to everyone on the ninjette site!
i've been riding quite a few years, and now it's time think about my 14yr old son and his first bike. i'm liking the 250r as a perfect first street bike, so i've join this site to get some community tips and ideas around this model. i currently ride a zzr1200 and often ride on the peninsula, berryessa and the sierra foothills. |

Lar -
I sure wish my parents had picked up a bike for me! I think the ninjette would be a decent choice for what you're looking for. Reliable, inexpensive, easy to maintain, and the world doesn't end if it falls over once or twice. I used to own a ZX-12R (the ZZR1200's close relative), and miss that bike. But we still have two Kawi's in the garage, so we haven't left the fold completely (ninjette and ZX-10R). - Alex

Welcome, enjoy the site, I hope it really takes off, the ex250 is a great motorbike, somewhere around here I posted pics of a 15 year old young man chasing me around Laguna Seca on a ninja 250.
BTW, want to adopt me?
