Finally United!!!

Went and got the ninjette yesterday, trailered her home, directed her to the basement, and flipped the tank
(Thanks to those that replied to this thread)
http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=168091

And a special thanks to KKim for the gas tank removal thread.

Good News:

She is finally in my possession

There was nothing in the tank (cept gas o'course)

She's pretty lol

Bad News:

Petcock is leaky (faulty?) according to the On position-no gas-vacuum-this that and the third. Point is **** made a big mess spilling gas everywhere.

Still need to replace the right front turn signal. The back one stays on and doesnt blink when indicating right. Is this because the front is out?

Fuel guage doesn't work??? Baby Moms said it did before.

All things said and aside:

Very nice man. The petcock thing happens to nearly all of us lol. You can try and take it apart and clean it if it bothers you. Next time have some small rubber hose ready to drain tank.

Yep. The indicator on the dash should also be solid until you replace the bulb.

There's a wire that is underneath the tank that connects to the fuel gauge. Is it connected? Those things aren't accurate anyway. Just fill up every 200 miles.

Fair enough lol. While I have you occupied, the speed rivets that connect the inner fairing... They were, how do you say... uncooperative. So their heads got snapped off and are now useless. Where do I find new ones or an easy alternative?

EDIT: I wasn't the one who snapped them. I actually flipped out when I found out my brother (who was "helping") did that. He was just trying to help but the phrase "Be nice to my bike" just didnt sink in

Just measure the hole though, I'm not certain if they're 6mm.
