Heyo everyone,

Long time viewer, new time member, wanted to drop in and say hello! I'm still a new rider, pretty green, but loving the ride and always improving!

I've been finding some really helpful feedback/tips on this forum over the past few years. Keep it coming!
I'll be posting some info on my 2008 250r streetfighter in a little while.

- 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250R
- 2013 Honda CBR 500R

Just curious, which side of WA are you on, wet or dry? I have family on the wet side and friends on the dry side.

I'm on the wet (very wet) side of Washington. Seattle definitely has it's crappy seasons for riding, but I've gotten used to it. It's been super nice here in the past few days. As for your friends on the dry WA side, I'm jealous.

I'm originally from the Portland area, feels like it rains a little less down there than up here!

I haven't yet had the pleasure of riding up around Seattle, just driven. Did go riding around Spokane when I went up that way last year. The Columbia is rather scenic from the back of a bike. And the Palouse is a trip for this desert rat!

I sincerely hope you have no friends or family affected by the landslide. My family is spread from Bellevue to Mt. Vernon, so I've been through Darrington and Oso before.

I have yet to ride through the Columbia, but it's definitely scenic! I often ride further east from Seattle towards the mountains. There's some great winding roads out there.

I live about an hour away from the landslide, don't know anyone that was involved, but man does it suck.

Hey dcj13, I'm in King County. A lot of my rides towards the mountains take me up into Snohomish County frequently. Lots of better winding roads closer to the mountaints!
