It has the most replies in General (5200+ at this point), but the two word game threads in Off-Topic have it beat (11,575 replies for the word assocation game, 5,993 for the Another Word game one). If you click into the forum without going into a thread, you can sort by the columns on the right.

I can't do it by thread, but I can do it by subforum. I considered not having postcounts be counted within off-topic, but it's such a busy part of this site that I don't think it's the right choice.

I agree with that decision it's by thread or not at all, off-topic has a lot of legitimate topics that deserve being credited posts. It's just those two threads that would be good to stop post counts from.

Hopefully she'll only be that loaded down for one trip. Normally its all shoved in my tail bag, but given that I actually need to be somewhat normal looking at some points on my vacation, figured having a change of clothes might be useful.
Plus the front saddle bags looked cool on some of the dual sports I was looking at so turning my little sport bike into a well rounded go anywhere machine! Bwhahaha. Who needs gas mileage?! Mine? Or Vic's? Or both?

Just switched out to a brand new battery! Need to change my bent shifter, then wash the bike and lube the chain. Also really don't like how loud my exhaust slip on is (growler), so I'll be switching it out ASAP.

Cleaned and lubed the chain! Now to figure out what that shop did to destroy my fuel economy. It was a routine oil change, which I've always done myself, but not with this result.

Worked about 8 hours today applying vinyl graphics to the Ninjette. (graphics kit arrived today!) I am about half finished, it's slow going. Pics upon completion.

I put some reflective rim tape on the wheels. Very easy to do, adds a bit of colour, and the reflectivity gives a lot of extra visibility at night.

Picked up a brand new GoPro HD Helmet Hero from a coworker of mine. I know its not the latest and greatest but for $80 I just couldn't pass it up. Installed 2 of the mounts today, 1 on top of the gas tank in 12:00 position in front of the gas lid, and one mount 2:00 position in the very front by the windscreen. Keep a lookout on an upcoming vid

Installed yoshimura exhaust hanger... Rear brake light switch wasn't activating, so I started fiddling with the spring, till I realized there was a screw adjuster for this very purpose... installed map, tried removing the baffle from the exhaust, but it's properly stuck in there, gotta find a way to get it out... Went for a quick ride to check everything out and it's good looking forward to doing some track time now...

Replaced and balanced my first tire. Only took a little over an hour.
After the gallon of tire lube, bearings to make a static balancer, tire irons and wheel weights it would have been cheaper to have any shop do it. Definitely worth it though. |

I would like to change my own tires as well. What tools did you use, did you buy a tire changing rig, such as the one from Harbor Freight?

i use two pieces of wood to pop beads and 3 spoons to change tires. tire rigs make it about 100 times easier, but if you're going to pay that much you might as well have someone come over to change your tires for you and suck your dick while they're at it. just remember when you're trying to get the last bead on that you have to pinch both beads on the opposite side to get them to slide into the trench between the beads so you can get the far side bead on.

I have changed tubeless scooter tires in the past (not fun! Often had to cut the bead.) Most of my life I have just gone to the shops and let them do it, but I like the freedom of buying tires online. Most shops around here charge high prices and give serious attitude to mount tires that you carry in, so from now on I will join the riders who change their own!
