My husband is signing me up for the course on Schofield. (FYI, I think it's free so if you can do it on a military base do so.)

I can't wait to start riding. I've always wanted a motorcycle and I'm finally doing it. Can't wait to meet y'all and cruise the Island.

I just really like the design of that color scheme. Plus there was almost a $3000 difference. And the other one only had 700 miles on it. OH WELL! Not too fond of the colors this year but after seeing them in person I really like the candy lime green one.

Here's the one I'm talking about.

Haha, that bike was listed in the beginning of December. I guarantee it sold within 2 days.

I had mine listed at 3800 and sold it in 6 days for a little less.

buy mine for 3800, has all the stuff you'll spend another 1000 for on it. wife learned on it, and she had no idea how to ride. great beginner/intermediate bike.

wondering...anyone else had trouble triggering the red lights? I had a few in the kapolei area. Eventually, i ran the red lights. Seen some threads about running the reds. Can we do that here in Hawaii?

To my knowledge, it's illegal. But is it enforced? Never had an issue with it.

Rule of thumb:
As long as you wait a light cycle. Oh, and don't get caught. Especially don't do it when there's a cop around.

Totally new to this whole thing but isn't there something you can put underneath the bike to trigger the thing in the road?

Weight? Aren't most of the light sensors a circuit sensor, rather than pressure sensor?

some times it seems my bike can trigger the light. for those that don't change, i tried putting the kickstand on the line, but that doesn't work.

about the stop light turn thing. i thought it was two cycles. i just go after one though.

oh and i am on call, so i am just vegging at home. i am off call from 8a-noon tomorrow, so if the hospital doesn't call me in over night, i plan on trying out my new ak-47 at koko head.

mark, i think the ak was like $750. i got my 3 firearms from ogc. the ak is an arsenal.

then i got a glock 34. those are the only 3 i got. gotta stop buying for now.

Okay so this is totally not the place to put this but I tried to create a new post and it said I couldn't post. Anywho, what do you guys think about a bike someone is selling that the title says it's salvaged but everything has been fixed?? Check out this CL ad.

http://honolulu.craigslist.org/oah/mcy/2781935861.html

I know for a little more $ I could buy a brand new one. WDYT???

I'd stay away from it.

I saw it posted sometime in November. There's obviously a reason it didn't sell.
