I would like some info on clipons. I really just need some bar ends, but cant find any the right size. I currently have kitaco. Normal 7/8th bar ends will not fit inside.

Thanks,
Steve

One thing I might suggest/request for the Shinto website is a simpler version for those of us on economy computers: the flash and script-filled version that's up, while attractive, takes bloody forever to load/change pages and tends to crash all three browsers I use.

You're right, even on a quad core computer the gallery thing takes forever to load cause flash utilizes the computers CPU instead of the GPU. Not to mention flash doesn't look good for SEO (search engine optimization). It's ok to have some flash within, but a website shouldn't be made entirely out of flash, it can hurt your client base.

A small suggestion:

Putting all of the ordering info into this thread and forcing us to dig it up is NOT user-friendly.

Put it on a website and make it clear and unambiguous. Please.

Just my $0.02.

i appreciate the feedback. that being said, the entire ordering process as well as price list is in the very first post of this thread. the website is paul's baby and pricing info on the site is only relevant to ordering direct from him.

pm's or preferably, emailing shintousaorders@gmail.com is what works best for me as i do not have the knowledge to build a sister site like matt has with sportisi. one last point, that site has not been updated since it's inception, and matt uses his thread on this forum for new products and pricing.....

last but not least, please pm paul (thaininjarr) or email him at support@shinto-racing.com with website feedback. i'm sure he want's to make it as user friendly as possible.

gb for clip-ons available mid-late august

hey everyone,

i've started to get quite a bit of interest on the clip-ons. group buy pricing for 10+ knocks price to $100 shipped. additional discounts are available using kit pricing if you throw in fork caps, grips, bar ends, levers, etc.

planning to submit first shipment request for all orders thus far on 7/30

thanks

Hi Vince.

Might I suggest that you start a new thread in the marketplace for each GB going on instead of having all of your business conducted through this one thread? It makes it easier for those that are interested to keep up with their particular item instead of having to read every post in a thread mixed in with many other items.

I suggest this because later down the line, this thread will go on for many, many, many pages.

Wish you the best.

The flasher relay is adjustable. Direct plug in.. you can turn the knob and adjust the speed of the flashing...I set it a little faster than stock rate to get cager attention Flasher will work with all four LEDs signals (with diode mod).
I'm thinking of getting the flasher relay. so you're saying 1 flasher relay will work on all 4 - the 2 rear & the 2 fronts eh?

i'm curious, what does installation look like?

Even on stock bikes one relay controls all the flasher functions. I imagine install is simply plug 'n play like most. The flasher is located under/inside your left tail fairing, a black box about 1" x 1.5" x 1.5".

Yup. Plug it in like stock and turn the little knob to adjust how fast.

Thanks, sounds easy enough? while on the subject of the relay.. think it will work for this sorta problem?... many aftermarket blinkers I purchase dont flash, they just stay lit when I turn the signal.

as a business, you should be open to as many avenues as possible. just be sure to be ready to deal with the many other headaches that come with non ninjette members.

... and please, don't leave a trail back to ninjette so they can join, though Alex may have a different opinion on that.

i hear you kelly, i posted on newninja.com and got very little response. that forum seems to get very little traffic and also seems to be a younger crowd. posted on kawiforums.com and had mods all over me like white on rice. the process over there to become an "approved vendor" is ridiculous.....

yep... they're set up/backed by a big business which a lot of people disliked/had issues with when that happened a few years ago. it's all about money, now.

Alex truly has something unique for us in Ninjette.

Hey I'm looking to get a rear hugger in FG ASAP, the bike is going into the paint shop pretty soon and I was wondering how long it will take to get it shipped to 92123.

Thanks

Hey Vince, I've been saving up for some new levers, thinking I'd like to get the 6 stage adjustable ones (the $55 ones). My question is, are they like a shorty style lever or the longer style?

per paul, they are shorter than OEM, but not full-on "shorty" style. i'll ask him for a pic.

as promised. so v1 and v2 are basically same length as oem, v3 (fully adjustable) can go longer or shorter.
