I tend to take mine with as I don't trust the general public with not finger facking my stuff while I'm gone.
On the Zuma I toss it under the seat, and when I had the FJR I'd put it in a saddlebag. Motorcycle Consumer News just had a good article/comparrison of helmet locks. Their top 3 picks were: Kryptonite, R4 retractor Combo - $16 Onguard, 5061 Combination Cable - $9 Vault, Serpent Cover Lock - $15

I leave mine hanging from the mirror.
My helmet is covered with dead insects, inside my helmet has my distinct personal aroma, I park my moto with panache in plain sight for all to see & high rate of foot traffic. Riding a motorcycle means: I'm a badass, don't you dare mess with my stuff. |
