I bumped up the liability. What is the other two things for? They told me we don't need that cause we are military and our medical is covered for free no matter what.
Thanks for your help Jiggs

Do they cover your wages as well if you injured? Pain and suffering?

Not wages....I don't have a job. And no to the P&S.

Edit-is the underinsured and uninsured the same thing? On mine it's two separate things and to bump them both up to 250 it takes my insurance over 500/year.

I wouldn't get liability that's outrageous, unless you plan on wrecking into a rolls. The uninsured, I would get most of 10k since the military pays for your medical. The 10k would pay to replace your gear/bike.

What about Underinsured? Through Progressive it's two separate things. Doesn't the accessory coverage cover gear?

Uninsured Motorist: No coverage

Underinsured Motorist Bodily Injury:No coverage

Income Loss & Disability:No coverage

Medical Payments:No coverage

Transport Trailer:No coverage

Physical Damage Options:Actual Cash Value

Comprehensive:$250 Deductible

Collision:$250 Deductible

Roadside Assistance: Selected

Accessory coverage: 3K

Will that work?
Uninsured is absolutely necessary. I find it odd you'd get collision but not uninsured.

That's just in case someone hits me and they aren't insured right?

Well Hawaii is a "no fault" state so my own insurance would pay for my damage, and their insurance (or lack there of) would pay for theirs. That's what I was told anyways.

Wut.

So if I smash into you at a red light, your rates will go up?

I would talk to your insurance and make sure that's how it works.

Well, we have to have "extra/special" coverage because it's a no fault state. No 100% sure if that's how it works but I'm pretty sure.

Get the best coverage you can afford, you never hear of people complaining about having too much insurance.
