With any aftermarket exhaust, expect it to be louder than stock. Even the quietest one on the market, the Area P quiet core, is a few dB louder than factory.
To those using the el cheapo multi piece header, did you have to use any permatex high temp gasket maker to seal the various pieces of the headers/mid pipe/can? I've got a Tyga system I just put on that had some leaks at the joints. I did it up in some RTV, just waiting to see how that seals when it's cured. It may just be because I have a pregen and the mount point for the can is slightly different, idk. |

thankful i have the baffle in. got the exploited back together and have been riding daily. i really don't think i could ride this with the baffle out! mid pipe quite close to lower fairing. i have the insulation tape but might put another layer down. will take a photo. so far no complaints. the chrome is doing its normal bluing/color changes. overall, ya save a few bucks and ya got a decent system. sometimes cheap wins in the end. peeps of course will dispute this, but nobody can get a full system and muffler for around $200 smackers!

Hey, can you measure OD of exhaust end where muffler slips on? Or ID of muffler inlet? I want to see if your muffler will fit my Tyga exhaust. Figured I'd leave my Laguna Seca elbow on Tyga muffler and just get an unmodified muffler.
Thx. |

That 51mm tubing size is a little large; that's what you'd need on +125bhp engines! I'll use the reducer-cone to match it up to my Tyga exhaust.
Thanks! |

After waiting 2-weeks for answer from Tyga on their carbon-fibre canister's weight and availability of replacement end-caps, I just ordered this from Ali. Came out to $37 with shipping. I might just chop it in half to save some weight.

Well darn, titanium exhaust is listed at 2.3kg while yours is 2.1kg. No weight savings there!

Added benefit of drillium, it always attracts flimbsium as well!!! No need to pay for both! Buy one get one free!

Drillium was fad back when I was racing bicycles:
I would think with modern computerized modeling and FEA that parts are more optimized nowadays? |

but yes. Modern carbon design has gotten rid of drillium. Light parts can be stiff with the right geometry for the use in a way that holes can't accomplish. |
